 Atlantis Bahamas Resort Casino Review

Our Experience & Photos from when we visited. This article gives you an idea of what to expect at Atlantis Bahamas Resort primarily for the Casino. Please note that we only visited the casino and toured the shopping venues. We did not visit the waterpark or eat at the restaurants. We also did not stay at the resort.

Our Rating: ***** (5 Stars)

We last visited Atlantis in August 2021. It was not very crowded at the time of our visit. We also only went to the Casino and toured the shopping venues there.

Atlantis Resort is located on Paradise Island in the Bahamas to get there from the cruise port in Nassau, you will need to take a taxi. At the time we visited Atlantis Carnival was not offering excursions there. We took out own trip there via taxi. It cost us about $20.00 to get there.

Atlantis Resort has a lot to offer including: a waterpark, dolphin experiences casino, shopping, restaurants, and even a place to stay if you choose to stay overnight. This Resort has something for everyone, you want go wrong choosing it. It also can be a bit on the pricey side so you may want to take that in consideration when deciding. It is also good to note that everything is spread-out across multiple towers so it can be a walk to get around especially if you are staying at the resort. It is also not an all-inclusive Resort especially for dining.  You can purchase a dining pass though.
However, if you just want to visit the Water park you can get a pass to just do that.
Atlantis day passes range from $75 for kids under 13 to to $250 for a full-day adult Atlantis and water park pass.

However, when we went we were on a cruise and we simply just went to check out the Casino. We did browse a few shops that we outside the lobby to the Casino.

We really enjoyed the Casino at Atlantis. While playing, my husband actually won $80.00 There was not a charge to enter the Casino and we just put what money we wanted into the machine to play as we went. However, if you stay at the Resort you can play with your room key and charge to your room.

The casino is fully equipped with every exciting game you could imagine, from classics like blackjack and roulette to casino war and hundreds of thrilling, themed slot machines. The casino is large enough to accommodate plenty of guests and you’ll never have to worry about a long wait just to get on a table. The casino also offers complimentary cocktails for players, and service is quick and waitresses easy to find.

This casino is home to some beautiful dazzling displays of custom glass artwork and is definitely one of a kind. Such artwork includes a beautiful orange glass sun on one end and then a moon display on a podium on the other end.

The staff was very friendly on our visit and we never had to hunt anyone down for a drink. They were often coming around to offer another before we were even done.

Please keep in mind that they do allow smoking in the Casino in case that might bother you as it can be rather strong at times.

Conclusion

If you have never been to Atlantis, we highly recommend it. While we have not yet been to the water parks we plan too. However, We love the Casino and if your just looking for a little fun and a little luck while visiting Nassau be sure to check out the Casino. We had a great time and the staff was amazing. We will definitely visit again and hopefully the waterparks with the kids next time.
