THE PERFECT CARRY-ON

When packing your carry on, it is important to ensure you have the essential items you will need in case your suitcase is lost or it takes a while for it be delivered to your cruise cabin. Here is a list of what yours should include.

1. Passport, ID, & Cruise Documents- You will need all these documents and proper Identification to be allowed on board. If not, you will not be able to board. If you’re unsure check with your cruise line or ask someone who has been. It is a good idea to keep everything protect in a RFID blocking organizer.

2.  Credit Card and Cash- **You will need these handy to set up your online spending account for your sign & sail card once you board. You will also need cash to tip the luggage porter, room steward, etc.

3. Medication- **Put all your medications in here especially the ones you take daily and keep them in sight. Putting them in your checked bag can be a problem if it is lost as some meds cannot be easily replaced.

4. Swim Wear, Workout, etc.**- You may not have access to your cabin right away and your luggage may not arrive until much later. Make sure you pack a swim suit, flip-flops, sneakers, etc. just in case. It is also a great idea to pack something to put your wet clothes in as well.

5. Camera, Cellphone, Laptop, other electronics, & Any Valuables- Make sure to pack all your valuables in your carry on. This eliminates the chance of these items being stolen or lost.

6. A change of Clothes- Remember it may be awhile before you get your luggage so I always pack a full days & next morning clothes just in case. I also include one formal outfit or casual dress attire for dinner. Don’t forget the under garments!

7. Toiletries, makeup, etc.- Don’t forget these items so you will have them to get ready & to always be camera ready.

8. Kid Stuff- If you are traveling with kids be sure to bring the essential items they will need or entertainment items needed.
